You Are Holding Me

About this song
Some mornings, our worries wake before we do.
“You Are Holding Me” is a contemporary worship song inspired by Isaiah 41:10—a reminder of God’s presence, strength, help, and sustaining hand.
Expressive piano, soaring violin, and an uplifting rhythm carry a simple prayer: even when the answers haven’t come and our voices still shake, we can bring our fears to God and take the next step with Him.
Lyrics
Verse 1
Before the morning fills the room My worries wake ahead of me I bring You all I cannot change And all the things I cannot see Before I take another step I rest within Your faithful grace
Pre-Chorus
When my strength is wearing thin God, You help me breathe again
Chorus
Jesus, You're here; I will not fear You are my God, forever near When I am weak, You help me stand You hold me in Your righteous hand Step by step, You'll see me through I can face this day with You Whatever comes, I still believe You are holding me
Verse 2
The answer may not come today The road may still be hard to see But You are here within the wait And that is hope enough for me Your promise meets me in my fear And gives me courage for today
Pre-Chorus
When my strength is wearing thin God, You help me breathe again
Chorus
Jesus, You're here; I will not fear You are my God, forever near When I am weak, You help me stand You hold me in Your righteous hand Step by step, You'll see me through I can face this day with You Whatever comes, I still believe You are holding me
Bridge
Even with my voice still shaking I can bring my fear to You Jesus, You are here beside me Every word You speak is true
Final Chorus
Jesus, You're here; I will not fear You are my God, forever near When I am weak, You help me stand You hold me in Your righteous hand Step by step, You'll see me through I can face this day with You Whatever comes, I still believe You are holding me
