I Would Choose You

About this song

A warrior returns to the palace with broken armor. The woman waiting beneath the lanterns still sees the young man she loves.

“I Would Choose You” follows their love through separation, war and a choice that matters more than a crown: a life together. Inspired by the supplied xianxia characters, this English love song pairs modern cinematic pop direction with guzheng, erhu, dizi and sweeping strings.
